Custom Laser Products Australia — CLPA — designs and manufactures precision laser-cut tools and templates from a workshop on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Every ruler, template, stencil and viewer that ships in our packaging was cut, deburred, packed and dispatched from one place. We answer the phone. We pack the orders. We make the products.

Why we exist

We started CLPA because the precision tools we needed — for woodworking, welding, quilting, t-shirt printing, photography composition — were either generic mass-produced imports that were nearly-right but not-quite, or boutique craft tools at gallery prices. Australian makers, fabricators and small-business operators deserved better.

So we built our own. Not a rebrand of overseas product. Not a kit shipped from a factory we've never seen. Genuinely designed and laser-cut here, with the materials and tolerances we'd want at our own benches.

Two material families: clear PETG for indoor crafts and templates that need flexibility, and polycarbonate for high-temperature applications like heat-press T-shirt rulers and pipe wrap. Both engineered for the job, never substituted to cut costs.

Quality and accountability

Every laser path is calibrated weekly. Every template is sized to a tolerance that we can defend with a vernier in our hand. If a product reads 14 inches, it measures 14.000 inches when it leaves us — not the lazy ±0.5mm that's normal in mass production.

We back every product with a 30-day return policy. If a tool isn't right for the job you bought it for, send it back. Beyond the 30 days, your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law apply: if a product fails to be of acceptable quality, you're entitled to repair, replacement or refund — full stop, no quibbling.
